Marty Holland, long time Premier employee, started with the company back in 1978. Marty took a leave for a few years in which he ran his own cedar operation. Marty has worked in the forest products industry all of his life and currently runs forklift, takes care of shipments, packaging and staging raw materials for all the work centers at the remanufacturing facility.

Marty was born and raised in Eureka, California where he earned an Associates of Arts degree from the College of Redwoods. Marty traveled to Neilton, Washington in 1977 where he and his wife Karen have resided for the past 27 years. Marty and his wife have two grown children, Angela and Jeff. Angela resides in Las Vegas, Nevada where she works as a College Professor and son Jeff works in the forest products industry in Aberdeen, Washington for Sierra Pacific Industries. Marty’s wife, Karen, works for the Lake Quinault School District.

Marty, according to his wife, is an avid fan of “That 70’s Show” and enjoys spending time at his cabin on Hood Canal with friends and family. Marty’s political mentors include: Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan and Oliver North. It is also rumored that Marty is a charter member of the John Birch Society.
