Despite their varying sizes and sometimes remote locations, member mills are bound together by a rigid quality code. Premier Forest Products, Inc. produces Naturally Superior ™ Western Red Cedar #1 Perfection Sidewall Shingles that are Kiln Dried and Rebutted and Rejointed. Premier’s 18” R&R Dry Kiln Sidewall Shingles are conveniently boxed for our customers and distribution outlets. Each box contains detailed application instructions. This 100% Edge-Grain, 100% Heartwood, and 100% All Clear product is the “Cadillac” of all individual sidewall shingle products found on the market today. For added longevity and greater style, these shingles are up to 40% thicker than many other shingles found on the market. They have a natural band sawn textured surface, which eliminates mill glaze allowing the product to absorb stains and paints more readily and evenly compared to other common shingle surfaces.
